DA42 over the 200 knots speed barrier

With 21 aerodynamical improvements the newly developed DA42 V1 is another milestone in the history of Diamond Aircraft Austria.
Powered by 340 hp from two Austro Engine AE300 and with a normal operational weight the take-off roll (no wind) is less than 1000 ft. The climb rate is 1900 ft at sea level and 900 ft on FL180 at a climb speed of 120 knots indicated. Top speed of the aircraft is over 200 knots in FL180.
